Help Make Justice For All Possible

Help us improve access to justice by donating to the ABA Standing Committee on Legal Aid & Indigent Defendants (SCLAID). For nearly 100 years, SCLAID has been a national leader in the movement to expand access to justice and provide legal services to the poor. Join the celebration of our first century of service as we launch our SCLAID 100 Project at the 2019 ABA Annual Meeting. As a donor, you may choose to be identified as a SCLAID 100 Supporter in our promotional materials—just indicate your preference below when making your donation to have your name listed in our honor roll of donors.

Your contribution will ensure that our critically important work will continue for years to come.  Highlights of the ongoing work of the Committee include:

Tribute Information
Recognizing someone with a charitable gift is a thoughtful way to express your commitment to justice while honoring loved ones. If you are making a gift in honor or in memory of an individual, please provide information about that person below.

The public service and educational programs of the Standing Committee on Legal Aid & Indigent Defense (SLCAID) receive funding through the ABA Fund for Justice and Education (FJE).  The FJE was created to accept gifts and grants to support the ABA’s public service work.  The FJE qualifies as an exempt fund under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and all contributions to the FJE are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
