ABA Commission on Immigration
Ensuring Equal Access to Justice

Thank you for supporting the ABA Commission on Immigration.  Your charitable donation will empower lawyers with the resources needed to safeguard the rights of those in need of protection!  Our work includes:

ABA South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR): ProBAR provides pro bono legal services to children and adults, including asylum seekers and other vulnerable individuals, who are held in immigration detention in South Texas.

ABA Immigration Justice Project (IJP) of San Diego: IJP is a San Diego based pro bono project designed to promote due process and access to justice for those in immigration proceedings.

ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA): CILA serves legal service providers who are representing children in immigration-related proceedings by providing free trainings, technical assistance and an online platform for sharing and accessing immigration legal resources related to children.

Matching Gifts
If your company offers a matching gift program, you have the opportunity to double your contribution. Your donation will be recognized in our materials at the combined value of your gift and that of your company’s matching contribution.

The Commission on Immigration, a public service project of the American Bar Association, receives funding through the ABA Fund for Justice and Education (FJE).  The FJE was created to accept gifts and grants to support the ABA’s public service work.  The FJE qualifies as an exempt fund under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and all contributions to the FJE are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
