ABA Center on Children and the Law
To a Brighter Future
The ABA Center on Children and the Law advances access to justice for children and families through quality training, research, practice standards and system reform. The Center supports attorneys, judges and other professionals striving to improve our country’s legal systems for vulnerable children and families.
The Center is honoring every lawyer and judge, every professional who works days, nights, and weekends: onimmigration reform, foster care, educational strategies or child neglect – they ask for our help, so we ask for your help supporting the Center work that defends the legal rights of children and families across the country.
This Brighter Future campaign recognizes the vast unmet needs of children and families disproportionately affected by poverty and dysfunction -- and the work still to be done. The Fund helps invest in the future of those children and families by providing the next generation of attorneys, researchers and reformers.
Your charitable support will help a child sleep safely in a bed at night, help parents reunite with their children, and help transitioning youth get a job, an apartment, an education.
The ABA Center on Children and the Law receives funding through the ABA Fund for Justice and Education (FJE). The FJE was created to accept gifts and grants to support the public service and educational work of the American Bar Association. The FJE qualifies as an exempt fund under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and all contributions to the FJE are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
